IPAN encourages all who are concerned with peace and the ending of the Middle East War and Australia's involvement in it to support their local Palm Sunday Peace rally, with appropriate placards.
Brisbane (King George Square) – 3pm
Palm Sunday Rally for Peace and Justice, organised by RAC Justice For Palestine, Just Peace Qld and IPAN.
Sydney (Belmore Park near Central Station) – 2pm
Palm Sunday Rally & March. March up Broadway to Victoria Park.
Canberra (Garema Pl) – 1pm
Palm Sunday rally for Refugees.
Melbourne (Princes Bridge) – 1.30pm
This event is in the long tradition of calling for peace and social justice on Palm Sunday.
1pm: Gather on Princes Bridge with banners and placards
1.30pm: Walk to Lower Terrace, Birrarung Marr
2pm–3.30pm: Speakers and music at Lower Terrace, Birrarung Marr
