Palestine Solidarity
This is a working group of IPAN aimed at assisting the current people's movements around Australia in support of the Palestinian people. Contact palestinewg.ipan@gmail.com. Please consider joining IPAN!
This is the time to observe international law, to cooperate and unify for future generations to survive.
SANCTION ISRAEL NOW!
Our Position
Since UNGA Resolution 181 of 29 November 1947 established the partition of Palestine and the creation of the state of Israel, the Palestinian people have been subject to ethnic cleansing, discrimination and apartheid policies by Israel. Since the events of 7 October 2023, they have been subject to overt genocide in Gaza and slow(er) genocide in the West Bank. Lebanon has been subject to attacks due to their support for the Palestinians, with an invasion of southern Lebanon and thousands killed.
We support:
- An end to the occupation of Palestinian territories
- Recognition of Palestinian rights under international law
- Accountability for war crimes, genocide and violations of human rights
- A just and lasting peace based on equality and dignity
- Australian government action to support Palestinian rights
What We're Calling For
- Sanctions on people or companies complicit in the Israeli occupation and human rights violations
- An immediate end to all military cooperation with Israel
- Support for UN resolutions on Palestinian rights
- Urgent massive humanitarian aid for Gaza and other Palestinian communities
